I often migrate lvl3 cities to halflings just to get this unit. The green wyvern costs 95 gold, the eaglerider only 55. I often get more mileage with an eagle rider than with a green wyvern. eaglerider: The best flyer in terms of value for money. swordsman: Not good for attack but good for stopping heavy critters because it has parry. Otherwise it can keep up with many of the lvl2 cavalry and it only needs 2 xp to get silver medal. Ponyrider (they made it lvl1 because the Satyr took it's place at the lvl2 spot.
The Undead are not as strong as many believe they are - IMHO they are just a medium strength race. The Azracs come second on my agenda, followed by Humans and Highman which share the third place. With an enchanted weapon there is no unit in the game that a red dragon cannot attack. When there's lots and lots of money the Orcs are the strongest race. It's a close shave but IMO with little money the Halflings win.
Yet the Halflings have the better units in terms of value for money. There are no cheaper lvl1 units in the game. The Goblins are unbeatable in terms of cheapness. When you ask the question which races are the best when money is very tight there are two races that really shine: Number one: Halflings. I think we had this topic in another thread not so long ago but after a while there were no more posts - so it's still a topic I'm interested in.Īctually I usually give two different answers depending on the amount of money available in a scenario.
